Kimberley Country is Expanding

We are very excited to announce that Kimberley Country is expanding their South Hedland Square shop and will be having their grand opening of the new and improved shop in the first week of November.

Kimberley Country's Story

They have evolved from a small shop in Fitzroy Crossing in 2016 to where they are today. Watch a video of their story here and read the business news article here about their recent win at the 2022 WA Micro Business of the year awards and making the finals in the Regional business of the year at Rise Business Awards.

Since winning the award an opportunity arose to sell their Fitzroy Crossing shop to FISH (Foundation for Indigenous Sustainable Health), an indigenous organization who are now operating the shop as a social enterprise with the profits made put straight back into the community so this was a great result for both parties. The legacy they created in Fitzroy Crossing is now ongoing and benefiting all areas of the community as a result of it being run as a social enterprise along with the ongoing training and development of indigenous staff.

At Kimberley Country they are very passionate about the training and development of local people within the remote towns they service, they will be looking to employ local people where possible as well as hoping to service local industries with workwear, headwear, footwear and everything in-between. They have no problem operating with purchase orders from large bulk orders to small individual orders and are also able to offer embroidery of all uniforms and workwear as well as offering in-house engraving which are the perfect personalized gift for family, friends, staff and colleagues.

They can't wait to open their new and improved shop in South Hedland Square to service not only South Hedland and Port Hedland itself along with all the exciting new developments within the town but also local indigenous communities, pastoral station communities, mining communities and all the construction and workcamps within the district.

We cannot wait for you to visit the store in early November.
